This past weekend December 3-5th, my grandfather and I (Coach Janssen) went to California to play in the USTA National Grandfather-Grandson Hard Court Championships. We were seeded #4 and received a first round bye. The next round we won 6-2 6-2. In the semifinal we played the #2 seeds and won 6-1 6-3. In the final we played #1 seed and defending champions Joseph and Matthew Cowley. We played well and had a match point but lost a tough match 3-6 7-5 6-3. This was our 7th grandfather-grandson and we collected our 4th silver ball to go along with 3 championships.
